Flora and Fauna – A drawing and print-making workshop
The Activity camp will be taking place at Truro PREP Schools Art department.

Art Explorers – Create multi-layered drawings
A day working with the artist Michael Brett to create stunning drawings and collages that are full of layers, textures and colour inspired by flora and fauna. Students will work from direct observation (digital-free!) learning to look closely at nature and gaining more confidence in their intuitive drawing skills. A wide variety of techniques will be used including brush and coloured ink influenced by Michael Brett’s approach to capturing the energy and detail of the natural world. The workshop will have exclusive use of the Art Department at Truro Prep School utilising their beautiful gardens. An exciting opportunity to create a masterpiece.

AGE RANGE: 8-12 years old.
COST: £40 per day.
LUNCH:
Please ensure children are provided with a healthy packed lunch, snacks and water. (NO NUTS)
ABOUT Mike
Michael Brett is an artist who has taught art for thirty years and is currently a member of the Art Department at Truro School. He makes paintings and woodcuts inspired by Cornwall’s landscapes and history. He starts by going for walks and drawing outside in nature. He exhibits at Falmouth, Truro and St Ives.
