Burrell Theatre Drama workshops
Our next drama workshop will be held Easter 2025. Please keep an eye on the website for more details.
WORKSHOP DETAILS:
We will be running a two day workshop at Truro School’s Burrell Theatre:
Date: Easter 2025
Time: 0830-1700.
Age range: 7-13 years old.
COST: The cost of the camp will be £65 for two days.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
A theatre workshop based on the famous Roald Dahl story, Fantastic Mr Fox. We will explore the characters using dialogue, dance, ensemble work and physical theatre which will create a performance of the story. This workshop will give your child the opportunity to make friends, have fun playing drama games and theatrical exercises and also develop some great drama skills led by our experienced team within the Burrell Theatre at Truro School.
There will be an opportunity on the second day to make some props and pieces of costume to use in the performance. Some stage make-up may also be used so please advise us of any allergies when signing your child in. Your child does not need any previous acting or dancing experience, just a willingness to be part of an ensemble and have fun! Their work will be showcased in a small performance at the end of the second day enhanced by the use of sound and lighting for parents and carers and we would ask that the children wear a base costume of a black top and trousers please.
