Burrell Theatre Drama workshops
While at this moment there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at The Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre, we unfortunately have had to make the decision to cancel all of our activity camps for the Easter holidays. We will continue to monitor the situation closely, please refer to our website for further updates on our future camps.
We will be running a two day workshop over Easter at Truro School’s Burrell Theatre:
Date: 2nd – 3rd April 2020
Age range: 7-13 years old.
The cost of the camp will be £50 for two days.
Full payment and a completed application form via the website are required to confirm your place. Upon receiving payment and registration form you will receive an e-mail confirming your acceptance to the Drama workshop and your place will be reserved.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
A theatre workshop based on ‘Alice in Wonderland’, exploring the range of weird and wonderful characters using dialogue, dance and physical theatre which will create a performance of different parts of the story. This workshop will give your child the opportunity to make friends, have fun and develop some great skills led by our experienced team within the Burrell Theatre at Truro School.
After registration the children will have an opportunity to get to know each other, play some drama games and theatre exercises and make friends as well as learning some new drama skills from the workshop theme. At the end of the second day parents will get a chance to see a small performance in the theatre from the children.
Your child does not need any previous dancing or acting experience, just a willingness to have a go and have fun.
