Tier Three guidance

From 31st December the Sports Centre will be operating under Tier 3 Government guidance until further notice.

What this means:
You can take part in organised sport and physical activity outdoors with any number of people. However, you should avoid contact in training and, for some sports, avoid contact in all activities.
Gyms and sports facilities will be open for individual exercise and exercise in single households or support bubbles only. Indoor group activities and exercise classes should not take place.
Badminton & Table Tennis: 
✓Singles and doubles with people of the same household or support bubble.
✓Singles and doubles for disabled players
✓Coaching
Squash:
✓Single player (solo) practices
✓Same household (including support bubble*)
✓School, college or university groups**children who are participating in coach-led/supervised curricular activity or players with disabilities
✓One-to-one coaching with adults using socially distanced practices
There are exceptions for the following, which can take place in any number:
– disability sport
– sports as part of the curriculum in education
– supervised sport and physical activity for under-18s (including -those who were under 18 on 31 August 2020)
